So, today I received word from Damsel in Defense Corporate, that my Damselpro.com domain name is against protocol and cant use it any more. This disapoints me greatly. I've been using it for two years now and I'm not sure how I will be making my change since I have the domain name paid for for the next 5 years and all my business info have my domain name on it. So I have some thinking to do.
As for now I will be back to using my Blog (until I get set up with something else or they close this down)

HI! It's been a long time!

Summer has arrived, for us anyways, Last week we had 105 degrees for a couple of days but it's back down to a bearable heat in the 90's.  School is out for my kids and I and we have a lot planed for our  8 weeks off of fun in the sun.

In 4 weeks I'll be off to Boise, Idaho for the FIRST Damsel in Defense Convention!! Whoohoo! I'm so excited.  Damsel is getting ready for the Fall/Winter Catalog and we will be the first to see the new products!  Maybe I'll be able to give a sneak peek as well.

I wont be at Thursday Night on the Square this year but will be at Penny Lynn's Crafters Village every month as always.

I will be doing a giveaway this July with Lynsey Jones, The Party Plan Coach again this year. I have sent her my Give Away items already and she is righting up her reviews. Hi!!! It's been awhile since I've posted anything, mostly because "I" do not have a working computer and to get anything posted I need to barrow one from my kids. (I do not fair well with Electronics or plants.) Today I probably should post anything because I'm in a Shitty mood. Yes, I said Shitty. But I thought it might make me feel better to bitch a little. If you don't want to hear about it, just skip down to the Monthly Special. :-)

 I don't know how many of you have Time Warner as a service but if it wasn't for my son and the lack of internet speed Verizon offers in this shit hole of a town I live in. No, we can not get Fios. I would tell them to kiss my ass. Well, I did, but I don't have a choice. With both my kids on the internet and when I get my computer running again Verizon's service will not cut it. We get booted off when we have more than one thing online at a time.

I ordered Time Warner on the 20Th for installation yesterday the 25th. They never showed!! Today I called with my Confirmation # to let then know and to see when they where going to come out. The first lady I spoke to was, I think from India... She had me go though the ordering process again as If I never did it in the first place, when she had the Information right there in front of her! (just confirming; she said!!) I was on the phone with her for over a half hour, Mostly on hold!!  When she told me what the charge was going to be, which was different from my original order and asked for my CC info I lost it!!   WTF Here in the US we need jobs, and we are calling India and the Philippines to order Internet, phone and Cable TV here in the states!! It's no wounder our Personal information is compromised and our nation in in the shit hole!

It's almost imposable to run a business anymore with out internet and they know they have us by the balls. So, after telling her to stick it. I F***** called back and spoke to someone again. HALF American in the Philippines (like that was suppose to make me feel better. OK so I was able to understand him.) and ordered service again. If they don't come on the 2nd They are going to never hear the end of it. I might just get harassment charges!! Why not! They do it to us...The day after I originally ordered service they called my cell to "Offer" me an upgrade on my service that hasn't even been INSTALLED YET!!! ...Aren't they sweet. 
ANYWAYS... THANKS. NOW ON TO THE GOOD STUFF!!

WHEW!! We made it!  2013 is here and the world didn't end. Just kidding, I knew we would still be here. I have too much to do for the next 20 years for it all to go to hell. ;-)   I made it though another Holiday without any drama. (Hooray!)  My Daughter had a great Christmas with her Dad and their were no tears when she got home. Yayy! And, He's was decent too.  Who said the Holidays don't bring out the best in people. (Well....for some, right?)   I'm sure you may have encountered some crazy stressed out person this Holiday (I have) who should have been wearing a 'Bah Humbug" Shirt to give us a warning before we got in back of the in line.  :-)   Anyway, we can move forward with our resolution or goals we have for 2013 without looking back or Holding back!

Thinking of Goals...What are the Goals for 2013? Mine?...To spread awareness though my Business with More parties and  Mentoring. I have to say, I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!!  It's something close to my heart and I hate to see or hear of someone who is going through or went through such a life changing event as Domestic Violence, Rape, and Abuse of any kind. I just want to hug them in hopes that that one moment will make it all better. 
Another goal of mine this year is to make it to our First Damsel in Defense Conference in July. Looking into Flight tickets the other day and I'll need to save my Commission checks for the next 4 month but it will be worth it. Besides, I also plan on my Commission checks to go up also, so then I'll only need to save 2 months. :-)


Well, I can't leave before telling you that January is National Stalking Awareness Month.
I'm attaching a link to their web page. It's full of Information that surprised me, like did you know 6.6 million people are stalked in one year in the United States and 89% of femicide victims who had been physically assaulted had also been stalked in the 12 months before their murder. 2/3 of stalkers pursue their victims at least once per week, many daily, using more than one method.CRAZY HUH?
